The terms for using Patuvay

1. The Beta

Patuvay is a test version, shared with invited people. Features can change, break or disappear, and the service can go offline without notice. Keep your own copy of anything important, such as bookings and confirmation numbers. You must be at least 18 to use Patuvay. Don't share the Beta password with people who weren't invited.

2. AI-made plans

Itineraries, suggestions, local words, prices and descriptions are written by an AI model (Google Gemini) and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Opening hours, ticket rules, travel times, safety advice, visa and health requirements, and local laws all change. Check anything that matters with an official source before you rely on it. Patuvay is a planning aid, not a travel agent, tour operator or professional advice.

3. Prices and bookings

Prices are rough estimates for planning, not quotes. Patuvay doesn't sell or book flights, stays, cars, tours or tables. Links to booking sites (such as Airbnb, Booking.com or Google Flights) take you to those companies, and any booking you make is between you and them, under their terms. A stay marked “planned” in Patuvay is not booked.

4. Your trips and what you share

Your trips and the things you type, such as notes and bookings, stay yours. You give us permission to store and process them to run Patuvay for you.

• View-only links put a copy of the itinerary in the link itself; anyone you send the link to can open it.
• Sharing with everyone in the Beta publishes the itinerary (not your bookings, budget or chat) on a public page and in the home page gallery, and lets other people copy it into their own planner. You can stop sharing at any time; copies others already made stay with them.
• Only share what you have the right to share, and nothing about other people that they wouldn't want public.

5. Your data

• In your browser: your trips, chats, bookings and budget are saved in your browser on your device. Clearing your browser's data deletes them.
• To plan your trip, your messages and the current plan are sent to Google's Gemini API. Depending on the plan Patuvay uses, Google may use this data to improve its services. Don't put passport numbers, payment details or other sensitive information in the chat; Patuvay never asks for them.
• On our server we keep a short-lived reuse cache (planner answers for a day, Wikipedia summaries for a week, map coordinates for up to 30 days), trips you choose to share with the Beta, and basic server logs for running and fixing the site.
• Cookies: one cookie keeps you signed in to the Beta. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
• We don't sell your data. A full privacy policy will come with accounts, before a public launch.

6. Other services

Patuvay uses Google Maps Platform for places, ratings, photos and maps. By using those features you also agree to the Google Maps Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Place summaries come from Wikipedia under its content license. Ratings, photos and reviews belong to Google and their authors and are shown with credit. We aren't responsible for other companies' sites, content or services.

7. Using Patuvay fairly

Please don't:

• use Patuvay for anything illegal, harmful or meant to deceive;
• post or share content that is hateful, harassing, sexual, or that infringes someone else's rights;
• try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of the site, or misuse its AI to produce harmful content;
• resell Patuvay or present its plans as a professional travel service.

We may remove shared content or end access that breaks these terms.

8. Copyright and ownership

Patuvay is proprietary. © 2026 Ana Sepetovska. All rights reserved. The Patuvay name and logo, the site's design, illustrations, scene artwork, themes, posters, text and source code belong to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.

You may use Patuvay to plan your own trips, and share or print your own trips and posters for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, frame, scrape or create derivative works from the site, its artwork or its code, or use the Patuvay name or logo, without our written permission. Nothing in these terms gives you a licence to our code or brand.

Content from others, such as Google ratings and photos and Wikipedia text, belongs to its owners. If you believe something on Patuvay infringes your copyright, email us at the address below and we'll look into it promptly.

9. No warranties, limited liability

Patuvay is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that plans are accurate, complete, safe or fit for your trip. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on a plan, such as missed connections, closed places, extra costs or bookings made with other companies. Where the law doesn't allow these limits, they apply as far as it does. Some rights you have as a consumer can't be waived, and nothing here takes them away.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms as Patuvay grows; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we'll point out important changes on the site. You can stop using Patuvay at any time. We may end the Beta or your access to it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA.
